This case study describes the experience of a Community Resilience to flooding project in Liverpool, one of a number of pathfinders funded by Defra in 2014. The project took place in a deprived area of the city and involved a number of activities, including improving the physical resilience of particular properties, providing advice in community languages and engaging children in schools through drama. A flood action group was also established to help organise and manage flood prevention activity.
