Climate UK will be supported by the Environment Agency's Climate Ready support service to deliver a programme of Climate Just training events across England over the course of the 2015/16 financial year. The aim is to double the number of people who have participated in user testing and preview events over recent months, from 200 to 400 and offer a choice of short webinars along with half day introductory and intermediate courses. The courses will enable a range of public service professionals to become acquainted with the tool, understand its potential applications and become more confident at using it in their job roles. The events will also provide opportunities for participants to discuss the issues raised by the Climate Just website and map tool and consider how effective responses may require coordinated action by various bodies within a locality.
